WOMEN.
EMPOWERED ATHLETIC LEADERS.

About

OUR MISSION

To empower women in positions of leadership in Nebraska interscholastic athletics by increasing the number of women in those positions and developing strategies to retain them. NWALA's resources will support head coaches, assistant coaches, volunteer coaches, athletic trainers, Athletic Directors, Assistant AD’s, and officials at the high school, middle school, and junior high levels.

To support and increase the number of girls participating in sports so they have the skills to transition into a position of athletic leadership if they desire.

OUR VALUES

We value the inherent benefits of athletic participation for an individual’s personal and professional life-long development.

We value diversity and inclusion and giving a voice to those who are underrepresented.

We value the positive impact of networking and collaborative problem-solving.
